1/27 - 3:30pm - Quick Video Update

Here's a quick video update on the storm for tonight and tomorrow:

We're going to have to watch this system closely tonight. Any unexpected movements may produce a mess in places where this was not forecast to happen. I read the 12pm update from the NWS Paducah office and they're watching a possible southern shift in the freezing line in that area. We'll see if this happens out here.

I really don't think so. The newest model data coming in is showing quite a bit of snow tomorrow morning, with continuing ice tonight.

on the AccuWeather page for E-town.. it has 9 inches of snow for today, tonight, and tomorrow. Is this going to happen?

I believe AccuWeather is making that prediction based on the last NAM, which had CRAZY precipitation amounts over the entire area. I doubt there will be that much, but 3-4" over the entire area sounds better. I'll keep watch on this though... it could surprise us.
